- There were no “Jews” until the time of Abraham’s grandson, Jacob, when the twelve tribes came about. They were all called Hebrews which morphed into “Jews”.
- At the time of Jacob, God separated the Jews from the Gentiles. The Jews were given all the promises and blessings of God in order to be an example of what God intends for man and to bring God’s blessings to the Gentiles.
- However; instead of being an example, or bringing forth blessings to the Gentiles, as Isaiah put it, they only brought forth “wind” (an allusion to “farting”).
- In the Old Testament, God worked through “Jews only with Gentile exceptions (like Ruth and Rahab)”. Remember, Jesus said He came only for the Lost Sheep of Israel.
- The Old Testament Jews were God’s espoused “Wife” (like Joseph and Mary). God has an agenda for the Jews that will be delayed but not forgotten.
- After the rejection by the Jews for God’s Messiah; Jesus, God turns to the Gentiles while blinding the Jews in part. Therefore; it becomes Gentile only with Jewish exceptions (such as Jewish Messianics).
JACOB’S TWO WIVES COMPARED TO GOD’S TWO WIVES: HIS OLD TESTAMENT WIFE, THE JEWS, AND HIS NEW TESTAMENT WIFE, THE GENTILE BRIDE OF CHRIST.
- Jacob, having two wives, is a comparison to God having two wives: The Old Testament wife of God where God calls Himself the husband of the Jews, and the husband of the Bride of Christ.
- Rachel, Jacob’s wife, is symbolic of the Jews, being barren she was not “fruitful”
- Leah, Jacob’s other wife, is symbolic of the Gentiles being extremely fruitful.
- God rejects the Jews of which Joseph is an example of that metaphor. Joseph was given the birthright by Jacob. Joseph was not the eldest son of Jacob but he was the eldest son of Rachel.
- Instead, God chose the tribe of Judah, Leah’s son, as a representation of the Bride of Christ.
- Together, the faithful Jews and faithful Gentiles will build a new kingdom during the Millennium.

GOD’S TWO AGENDAS, ONE FOR THE JEWS AND ONE FOR THE GENTILES
Below are charts showing symbolism, parables, metaphors, patterns, shadows, and types of God’s agenda for His two wives:
His Old Testament Jewish Espoused Wife, and His Espoused Gentile Bride of Christ.
The reason for the word “Espoused” is because the Wedding Feast does not take place until the end of the age.

Shall your mother and I and your brothers indeed come to bow down to the earth before you?” Revelation 12:1 (Sym) Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman (Rachel/Israel/lit.
