Revelation 17

• About the title: Isaiah 21:12

Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns (tribes) which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot (Jerusalem), make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

• The ten horns will come against Jerusalem – surround her with their armies and burn her with their armaments.

• Leviticus 21:9 The daughter of any priest (Jesus is the High Priest), if she profanes herself by playing the harlot, she profanes her father. She (Jerusalem) shall be burned with fire.
• Jeremiah 51:33 For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “The daughter of Babylon (Jerusalem) is like a threshing floor When it is time to thresh her; Yet a little while And the time of her harvest will come.”
• Isaiah 1:22 Your silver has become dross,Your wine mixed with water. How does one remove dross in silver and gold? Under fire:

• Isaiah 21:^3-5 Therefore my loins are filled with pain;
  Pangs have taken hold of me, like the pangs of a woman in labor.
  
  • Note: The tribulation is called the Day of Sorrows ie A Woman in Labor:
    Isaiah 13:8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as
    a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames.
    
• I was distressed when I heard it;
  I was dismayed when I saw it.
  ⁴ My heart wavered, fearfulness frightened me;
  The night (rest) for which I longed (peace) (the peace treaty) He turned into fear for me.
  ⁵ Prepare the table,
  Set a watchman in the tower,
  Eat and drink.
  Arise, you princes,
  Anoint the shield (prepare for war)!

• Isaiah 21:^9b “Babylon (Jerusalem) is fallen, is fallen!
  And all the carved images of her gods
  He has broken to the ground.”
  ¹⁰ Oh, My threshing and the grain of my floor! (Jerusalem was purchased by David when it was a literal threshing floor)
  That which I have heard from the Lord of hosts,
  The God of Israel, I have declared to you.

Revelation 17:¹⁷ For God has put it into their hearts (the ten kings) to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

• God’s purpose is to bring every Jew to a place where they recognize their Messiah: Jesus, and to be part of setting up His kingdom on earth.

• They suffer great affliction under the man they thought was their Messiah: the Antichrist.
  • John 5:43 I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.

Revelation 17:¹⁸ And the woman whom you saw is that great city (Jerusalem) which reigns over the (ten) kings of the earth.”

• The Antichrist sets up his global kingdom in Jerusalem and rules from there. He rules over the ten kings. It becomes the center of the financial global system.
  • Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

• It appears there will be a great market crash at the end of the tribulation. Jesus will return to earth with the saints and will take out his vengeance on those who came against the Jews prior to setting his kingdom up on earth.

• Isaiah 1:^24-27 Therefore the Lord says, The Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel,
  “Ah (About the title: I Say Ah/I-sai-ah), I will rid Myself of My adversaries,
  And take vengeance on My enemies.
  I will turn My hand against you,
  And thoroughly purge away your dross,
  And take away all your alloy.
  I will restore your judges as at the first,
  And your counselors as at the beginning.
  Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.”
  Zion shall be redeemed with justice,
  And her penitents with righteousness.

• TIMELINE:
  • Isaiah 21:12 The watchman said,
    “The morning comes (rapture), and also the night (tribulation).
    If you will inquire (boil), inquire (boil);
    Return! Come back!” (Jesus’ 2nd return)
