Isaiah 27

  • Hebrew: Yom means “Day”, Kipper means “Atonement”. Yom Kipper is the Jewish Feast “Day of Atonement.”
Isaiah 27:13 it shall be in that day:
The great trumpet will be blown;
  • Following the Pattern of Jewish Feasts: See The Days of Awe below.
  • The “Great” trumpet is blown on Yom Kippur.
  • In Jewish Feasts, Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement) is the only day when the High Priest enters the Holiest of Holies, offers the sacrifice for the sins of the NATION and with his thumb applies the blood of the sacrifice to the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant (once a year).
  • Yom Kippur follows a pattern of the Return of Jesus, in the High Holy Days.
  • Feast of Trumpets: the Trumpet is blown ninety times with the last ten blown on Feast of Trumpets.
  • The Seven of Ten days of Affliction: The Seven Trumps of the Tribulation.
  • Day of Atonement: The Great Trumpet is blown.

They (the Jews) will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria (the North),
  • During the time of Daniel Assyria (Syria) included the entire Middle East.
And they (the Jews) who are outcasts in the land of Egypt (the South),
And shall worship the Lord (Yᵊhōvâ) in the holy mount at Jerusalem (During the Millennium).
  • During the Millennium Jesus sets up His earthly kingdom and rules from Jerusalem. Psalm 2:“Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.”
