By Grace Through Faith
Ephesians 2:18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
- See Ephesians 2 {3 of 3}
- For through Him and Him ONLY does man have access to the Father.
Some say we are all “sons of God” but only one man came from a virgin birth and only one man rose from the dead never to die again having been given a glorified body.
Only Christianity identifies the problems of mankind and governments by identifying the word “sin”, as that which breaks down worlds, systems, governments, corporations, families, churches, and relationships. Only during creation did God say “It was good” before Adam and Eve sinned (disobeyed God).
No other “god” died on the cross to overcome “sin.” Not Allah, not Budda, nor any of the other 5,000 gods being worshiped by humanity.
Something innocent had to die for something guilty. No false god was innocent and nothing else “worshiped” by man (other than Christ) can “quicken” sinful men.
It’s a mystery why the shedding of innocent blood can neutralize sin; except to reiterate the scripture that pronounces “the (spiritual) life is in blood”. God gave Adam His breath, His oxygen, and it is the blood that carries the oxygen to all the cells in the body.
Since there are so many dimensions invisible to the world of man, the answer seems to be hidden in something that man cannot understand, which is why men are called upon to have “faith” in a supernatural God who reveals the future.
If, for no other reason, one cannot accept this, the prophecy in Genesis 3 concerning the “Son of the woman” (Jesus) and the “sons of the serpent” (the scribes and Pharisees) erupt in the confrontation of the ages with Jesus proclaiming their sins were “unforgivable” (by not believing in the identity of His virgin birth).
- John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
- Satan’s desire was to murder Jesus from the time of Genesis
