The Antichrist is indwelt by Satan, therefore, some of the names ascribed to Satan are also given to the Antichrist.

1. Antichrist (1 John 2:22).
2. Son of Perdition (2 Thess. 2:3).
3. Worthless (Idol) Shepherd (Zech. 11:16,17).
4. The Beast (who comes out of the sea of peoples) (Rev. 11:7).
5. The Lawless One (2 Thess. 2:8)
6. The Bloody and Deceitful Man (Ps 5:6)
7. Man of Sin (2 Thess. 2:3).
8. The Wicked One (Ps. 10:2,4) [character]
9. Man of the Earth (Ps. 10:18) [position]
10. The Mighty Man (Ps. 52:1, Isa 52:7)
11. The Enemy (Ps 55:3)
12. The Adversary (Ps 74:8-10, Isa 59:19, Lam 4:11-12, Amos 3:11) Speaks of his indwelling of Satan who is also called the Adversary.

24.  Angel of the Bottomless Pit (Rev 9:11)  “And they had a king over them, which is the Angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon” (Rev. 9:11). “Abaddon” and “Apollyon” mean Destroyer. It is the “Spoiler” of Isa. 16:4 rendered “Destroyer” in Jer. 4:7. That his name is here given in the Hebrew and the Greek shows that he will be connected with both the Jews and the Gentiles.

Thus says the Lord God: “Are you ‘he’ (the one!) of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied for years in those days that I would bring you against them?)
