2. 1876 BC Abraham offers to sacrifice his only son in obedience to God’s directive. This is the FIRST Passover. On this same day in the future the Hebrews leave Egypt after sacrificing a Lamb and putting its blood over the doorpost of their house.
   
   Abraham offers Isaac on the same day as the Exodus and the same day as Jesus’ crucifixion separated by those years of history. Abraham offers Isaac on Mount Moriah where the Jewish temple was built. In other words, the offering occurred on the same day as Jesus’ crucifixion and the same place the Passover Lamb was slaughtered.
   
   Miraculously, the offering of Isaac, the Exodus, and the Crucifixion all occurred on the SAME DAY of the week in their respective years!
   
   The years between the offering of Isaac and the Exodus is counted year by year and totals 430 years.

Exodus 12:40 – 41 Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt (and Canaan) was four hundred and thirty years.And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt.

*NOTE: Most translations only identify Egypt in the above verse. However; in the Jewish translation (ie the Greek Septuagint) it includes Canaan. 430 years prior to the Exodus, Abraham offered to sacrifice Isaac on Mount Moriah, later to become a threshing floor which King David purchased and on which his son Soloman builds the first Jewish temple.

This is one of the singular most important events in scripture for understanding the timeline of Passover, Jewish history, and consequently Daniel’s 70th week in the prophetic future.

3. 1892 BC Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed. An example of judgment for the ungodly.

4. Throughout scripture, Egypt is symbolic of worldliness ie the world, Sodom is symbolic of debauchery, greed, and cruelty, and Babylon is symbolic of idolatry.

1876 BC Abraham offers to sacrifice Isaac: from Passover TO Passover is 430 years!	Nissan 14, 1876 BC: Abraham is willing to sacrifice Isaac. Abraham went to Mt. Moriah to sacrifice Isaac as commanded by God who was testing his faith. [Gen 22:1-18] Abraham calls Isaac a “lad” or a young man… 15 years old. The age of a warrior is 20, and at that age he would have been referred to as a man. This event is a correlation to the crucifixion of Jesus on Nissan 14 and to the release of the captives on Passover Nissan 14 when Moses led the Hebrews out of Egypt.
