Matthew 9:5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

Matthew 9:6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

• From man’s perspective it is harder to heal a paralytic because, once pronounced, Jesus’ words would condemn him if the man is not healed. However; to simply say ‘your sins are forgiven you’ has no accountability since there is no way to prove it one way or another. Therefore; Jesus proves His ability to forgive sins by proving His ability to heal a paralytic. He is God in the flesh.
