1. THE SPIRIT CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Psalm 104:30 You (יַהְוֶה proper name, of deity Yahweh/Yehova H3068 The self existing One) send forth Your Spirit (h7307 רוּחֲךָ  רוּחַ rûaḥ the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son), they are created; And You renew the face of the earth.
  • Psalm 8:3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,

    Fingers are symbolic of the Holy Spirit in scripture.

2. ELOHIM (The Godhead) CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • h430 ‘ĕlōhîm specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God
  • The plural elohim is the Godhead: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Deu 4:32 For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God (Elohim:plural Godhead) created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?

3. JESUS (YESHUA), THE SON OF GOD, THE WORD, CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Who is “The Word”?
    • Ephesians 3:9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;
    • Colossians 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
    • John 1:1-5,10-11,14 The Eternal Word 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend (overcome) it… 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own (things,domain,people) , and His own (people) did not receive Him… 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
    • Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
  • Hebrews 1:2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
  • Isaiah 9:6
    6 For unto us a Child is born,
    Unto us a Son is given;
    And the government will be upon His shoulder.
    And His Name will be called
    Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

4. THE LORD GOD OF HOSTS CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Amos 4:13 For behold, He who forms mountains, And creates the wind, Who declares to man what his thought is, And makes the morning darkness, Who treads the high places of the earth— The Lord God of hosts is His name.

5. THE LORD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Who is the Lord?
    • Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, O Lord (speaking to Jesus, the lamb slain), To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.”
    • Revelation 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,

6. THE ALPHA AND OMEGA (HEBREW: ALEPH AND TAV) CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Who is the Aleph Tav (in Hebrew Genesis 1:1, the beginning) and the Alpha Omega (in Revelation, the end)?
    • Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created Aleph Tav the heavens and the earth.
    • Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning (in Genesis 1:1) and the End (in Revelation 2:13),” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
    • Revelation 1:11a “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,”
    • Revelation 21:6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
    • Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

7. THE LAMB OF GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Who is the Lamb?
    • Revelation 13:8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
    • John 1:2 The Lamb of God: The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!)
    • Revelation 15:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

8. THE KING OF THE SAINTS, CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Who is the King of the saints?
    • Matthew 21:5 “Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’ ”
    • Matthew 27:11 Jesus Faces Pilate Now Jesus stood before the governor. And the governor asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus said to him, “It is as you say.”
    • Luke 19:38 saying: “ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
    • John 1:49 Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”
    • John 12:13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: “Hosanna! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel! John 12:15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”
    • Revelation 15:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!

9. THE CORNERSTONE LAID THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH:

  • Job 38:4-7
    4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth?
    Tell Me, if you have understanding.
    5 Who determined its measurements?
    Surely you know!
    Or who stretched the line (measuring line, plumb line) upon it?
    6 To what were its foundations fastened?
    Or who laid its cornerstone,
    7 When the morning stars sang together,
    And all the sons of God shouted for joy?
  • Jesus declared Himself to be the chief cornerstone:
    • Matthew 21:42
      Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? lsaiah 28:16
  • According to Wikipedia the cornerstone is also known as a foundation stone, The cornerstone concept is derived from the first stone set in the construction of a masonry foundation, important since all other stones will be set in reference to this stone, thus determining the position of the entire structure.Nowhere, perhaps, does the equivalence of the shadow to the life or soul come out more clearly than in some customs practiced to this day in South-eastern Europe.In modern Greece, when the foundation of a new building is being laid, it is the custom to kill a cock, a ram, or a lamb, and to let its blood flow on the foundation-stone, under which the animal is afterwards buried.   • Christ is the perfect sacrifice to stabilize his Church, the body of Christ!” Except the Lord build the house, in vain do they labor that build it”. Ps L27 The wise man builds his house upon The Rock! The rock that is (supernatural) cut out without human hands, the cornerstone. Matt 7:25, Dan 2:34

10. WHO CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH?

LOVE created the heavens and the earth.
WISDOM created the heavens and the earth.
TRUTH created the heavens and the earth.
LIGHT created the heavens and the earth.
THE WORD created the heavens and the earth.
THE KEEPER OF THE REPOSITORY TO MEET ALL NEEDS created the heavens and the earth.


GOD created the heavens and the earth IN THE PERSON-HOOD OF JESUS the One who is Love, Wisdom, Truth, Light, the Word, the Repository of all resources and the third person of the Godhead. ~ Barbara Grover
