I am a relic of days gone by, spanning the era of using an outhouse for a bathroom to currently hearing a debate concerning downloading a person’s memories into a computer, being “post human”, evolving from a human being to an Artificial Intelligent Robot with all the memories of the human; a cyborg so to speak, but missing human emotions.

I consider myself having a front row seat to end time events as spoken of by biblical prophets. Therefore I would like to share what I see, what I hear, and what I witness.

Growing through childhood, upgrades to improve life were nonexistent. We were just too poor and therefore; we circled around items everyone else thought were necessities. If we had an oven, we didn’t have a refrigerator. If we had a telephone we didn’t have a car. If we had a car we didn’t have anything else; a twin bed doubled as a couch, hard back chairs were arranged in a circle in the living area and sometimes we might have a TV but couldn’t get reasonable reception. One house in which we lived had one room with a dirt floor.

Now, people are enlisting as volunteers to colonize Mars.

Such is the past and such is the future, but what about today? I’m very good at connecting dots and I would like to share what I see about man’s future by examining current events.

Daniel chapter 12 uses the fewest words that convey the most in terms of a future society. Speed and Information are end time “biggies”.

• Daniel 12:⁴ “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

From the beginning of time man has been cooking on fire and riding animals or walking.

In my generation everything changed at once.

We no longer ride animals but now saddle up on rocket ships. “In the blink of an eye” is as fast as clicking on the internet. And there you have it. We are drowning in information. The problem is…we need to separate the information we need when we need it from the tsunami of information washing over us daily.
