Revelation 6

MID-TRIBULATION

The seven year tribulation is a time when God once again focuses on the Jewish people to bring each and every Jew to the knowledge of Jesus Yeshua as their Messiah.

  • Hosea 5:15 I (Jesus) will return again to My place (heaven) Till they acknowledge their offense (Jesus’ seven days of affliction). Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
  • Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo (Armageddon).
  • The tribulation is Daniel’s 70th week when God once again focuses on the Jewish nation since the rapture of the Church has taken place.
  • [Daniel’s first 69 weeks (years) lasted from 446 BC when Nehemiah stood before the king with Queen Esther at his side and the command went out to restore Jerusalem until the time when Jesus, the Prince, was cut off (crucified) in 31 AD.]
See Topic: Years, Days, and Times in Daniel
  • Because the Jewish leaders rejected Jesus as their Messiah, the last and 70th week from the book of Daniel has been postponed into the coming seven-year tribulation.
  • The “Church” is grace age believers composed of mostly gentiles with Jewish exceptions such as Messianic Jews since the Jews have been blinded in part. (Romans 11:25)
  • In the Old Testament believers were all Jewish with Gentile exceptions such as Rahab and Ruth.
  • The 70th week of Daniel begins with the signing of a seven year peace treaty.
  • With the seven year tribulation a new dispensation ensues. The age of grace is over, and, like the door to Noah’s ark, once the door is closed (the rapture) … it’s too late to escape both God’s wrath and Satan’s wrath. It is called both “the Day of Wrath” and “the Day of the Lord’s Wrath”.
  • The only option during the Tribulation for anyone to escape eternal condemnation is DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST which will result in many martyrs. One almost needs to be beheaded to obtain salvation. (Do not neglect Jesus’ great salvation today!)

Hebrews 4:7 “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.”
II Corinthians 6:2 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
Hebrews 2:3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
  • The Tribulation is the Kingdom of the Antichrist – the last Gentile kingdom before Jesus’ return and rule during the Millennium.

  • Chart Below Blue arrow: In Chapter 6 – You Are Here
  • Revelation 1:19 Write the things which you have seen (past), and the things which are (present), and the things which will take place after this (future).

THE SEALS, TRUMPETS AND BOWLS are like three runners, each with a different point of view. They all begin together and they all cross the finish line together. However; the seals, trumpets and bowls do not begin until the middle of the tribulation when Gog attacks Jerusalem.

The Trinity: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are One (united) in character, understanding, and purpose. Likewise, the seals, trumpets and bowls are all the same events with differing details.

  • * The Seals represent God’s Divine Covenant with Israel.
  • * The Trumpets are the warnings to the gentile world that the Antichrist and that the Club of Rome do not have the answers for saving the earth. Man must return to God.
  • * The Bowls are the consequences to the gentiles for ignoring God’s warnings.
    • Revelation 9:20
    • But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk.
  • The Seals, Trumpets, and Bowls all end in the same event: Thunder, Lightning, Earthquake, and Noises” which signals the Return of Christ and the fulfillment of all sevens (777) at the same time; the completion of God’s wrath.
    • In other words, earthquakes, thunder, lightning, hail and “noises” are all the same event summing up the 7th simultaneous seal, trumpet, and bowl when Jesus returns to earth with His angels and saints.
    • Jude 1:14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints/angels,
  • The seven “seals” begin in the middle of the tribulation with the attack of Gog and Magog and the betrayal of the Antichrist and end with an earthquake, thunder, lightning, and “noises”.
  • The seven “trumpets” begin in the middle of the tribulation and end with an earthquake, thunder, lightning, and “noises”.
  • The seven “bowls” begin in the middle of the tribulation and end with an earthquake, thunder, lightning, hail, and “noises”.

Revelation 6:And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart (Gr. choinix, about 1 quart) of wheat for a denarius (About 1 day’s wage for a worker), and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

Fourth Seal: Widespread Death on Earth

Revelation 6:When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.”
Revelation 6:So I looked, and behold, a pale (green: chlorophyll) horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power (authority) was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword (conflict), with hunger (famine), with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs

Revelation 6:When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

Revelation 6:16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.
Revelation 6:17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand.

Daniel’s 70th Week IS the Seven Year Tribulation, and it’s all about the Jews.

Daniel’s 70th “week” is the seven year tribulation where each year signifies one of the seven “days of affliction” Jesus suffered.

It is a time of judgment for each day of resisting God as it was in Numbers 14:

  • Numbers 14:34: … for each day you shall bear your guilt one year … and you shall know My rejection.

JESUS RECEIVED SEVEN DAYS OF AFFLICTION AFTER HIS TRIUMPHAL ENTRY AND BEFORE HIS RESURRECTION.

Chart: Jesus’ seven days of affliction in blue:

The Antichrist is the rider on the white horse who is active from the beginning of the tribulation to the end of the tribulation. His kingdom is the last head on the seven headed dragon where each head represents a kingdom.

The kingdom of the Antichrist is also the fourth beast in Daniel 7, as shown below. The head (kingdom) with ten horns (ten kings who give their power to the Antichrist in Daniel 7:24 and Revelation 17:10) is always the kingdom of the Antichrist.

The Kingdom of the Antichrist; indwelt by Satan, killer of the Jews. The only head with ten horns. The last kingdom to rule over the Jews.
