Judges 4
- A woman in Hebrew is defined as “The Womb of a Man”. Deborah carries the story instead of a man. Jael gets the glory instead of the commander. In Hebrew thought, women represent the spiritual world while men represent the physical world. In marriage, the woman and the man together in marriage represent the union of the physical and the spiritual. The story of Deborah and Jael make this a spiritual story.
- Deborah is a Jew. Jael is a Gentile. Together they prophetically fight the evil forces of Jabin, King of Canaan and Sisera.
- Canaan is the Mideast where all end-time events occur.
