WHAT IS REALITY?

Reality

Man determines his reality by his five senses, his four dimensions, and his reasoning. Man’s reality is his experience.

Can man depend on his senses, dimensions, or reasoning?

Reasoning

Reasoning is that which is “concluded” from what is “sensed” (perceived).

A conclusion is like connecting the dots until the final picture emerges. In God’s realm, the final picture hasn’t yet been revealed; therefore, conclusions are inconclusive (speculative) giving rise to divisions on religion, politics, and all other opinions.

“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

Five Senses

Man is able to sense his reality by seeing, hearing, touching, smelling, and tasting. It takes reasoning to imagine what existence would be without his senses. It also takes reasoning to wonder if there might be more to reality than man has the ability to “sense” (perceive).

“Understand, you senseless among the people; And you fools, when will you be wise? He who planted (fastened in) the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge? The Lord knows the thoughts (reasoning) of man, that they are futile.” Psalm 94:8-11

Time

Without time, all events would occur at once, in one big pile. God exists in the present eternally without beginnings or endings and is not subjected to “time”. However, God is not a God of confusion; time is a convenient tool for creating this universe so events can be separated into an orderly sequence, like inserting file dividers or boxes marking out the spaces of time between events.

In Physics, time exists within the universe, but the universe does not exist within time (time does not exist outside the universe); time relies on distance (space) and speed (change). The mathematical equation for time is: time = distance / speed.

“Everything Has Its Time: To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;” Ecclesiastes 3:1

“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the (appointed) time is near.” Revelation 1:3

Four Dimensions

Man’s four dimensions consist of time and the three shapes of width, depth, and height:

1) TIME (the spacers between events with God’s predetermined plan for His milestones):

“Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time, I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.” Genesis 18:14
“For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.” Genesis 21:2

2) WIDTH, 3) DEPTH, and 3) HEIGHT for shape.

“The length of the (temple) court shall be one hundred cubits, the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, made of fine woven linen, and its sockets of bronze.” Exodus 27:18

The String Theory

According to the String Theory it takes more than four dimensions to mathematically unite all universal forces. String Theory, also called a “theory of everything”, brings together quantum mechanics and Albert Einstein’s general theory of relativity. The only mathematical model that can unite all forces demands a minimum of 11 dimensions.

What kind of dimensions exist beyond those that man can sense?

The Four Fundamental Forces© Physics With Fazal

“There are four main forces in nature: gravity, electromagnetic forces, and two types of nuclear forces. These forces must be balanced. If gravity were even slightly stronger or weaker, the formation of stars like our sun and, consequently, the existence of life would be impossible.” The Four Fundamental Forces© Physics With Fazal

Science cannot ignore the fact that such a delicate balance only makes sense under a Creator’s intentional design for the universe.

Matter and Energy

The most minute “matter” isn’t matter at all, it’s actually “snaps” of energy called strings (the String Theory), although some are open strings and some are loops, like Cheerios. Loops, accordingly, can seemingly slide between dimensions, whereas snaps are more limited to specific dimensions.

According to Einstein and physics, there is no such thing as “matter”. Matter is simply energy in a different form. Energy can be converted into matter, even as matter can be converted into energy, as demonstrated by the atomic bomb. When the atom is split, its “matter” becomes a massive amount of energy (with an insignificant amount reapportioned to heat).

An atom is made up of nothing more than a tiny core of protons encircled by electrons, and yet the energy it emits when it is split is enormous.

In other words, it takes the energy of one atomic bomb to create one atom.

How much energy does it take to create a universe such as ours?

How many “universes” might there be?

How big is our God?

“Let them praise the name of the Lord, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is ABOVE the earth AND heaven.” Psalm 148:13

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

Death

Death might not be what we think it is. Instead of seeing death as the end of life, Quantum Physics suggests, and God’s Word insists, that death is an illusion (and a different formation of the extension of life).

  • John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”

Instead of asking “Is There a God? (A creator of life)” we should be asking “Is There Death?” If not, shouldn’t men be investing in those things which are the most valuable; those which have a higher return on life, which, as it turns out, IS God?

  • To Belshazzar, Daniel, the prophet, speaks: “…God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it;  …You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting (according to your choices); …Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians … That very night, Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was slain. And Darius the Mede received the kingdom.” Daniel 5:26-28, 30-31

Man is “weighed in the balances”. Do we live up to God’s expectations?

Scripture uses the word “sleep” for “death” because, by reasoning (God’s conclusion), God is saying that death is nothing more than a transformation of life.

“When He came in, He said to them, ‘Why make this commotion and weep? The child is not dead, but sleeping’.” Mark 5:39

“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28

There is nothing to fear, but fear itself – unless one’s soul is so fixated on one’s own appetites that he ignores the reality of God’s Word, resulting in a second death.

  • Revelation 20:6 “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”
Revelation 20:14 “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”
Revelation 21:8 “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

Life

Life, like death, is explained as something beyond man’s understanding by the Word of God.

Life created Time, Space, and the Cosmos itself. In other words, Life creates life. The God of Life created the heavens and the earth and all the life in them.

  • “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” Romans 1:20

Something cannot come from nothing. Everything points to this law of nature: Man, animals, and plants procreate. Life creates life.

Jesus is not only the creator of life but HE IS LIFE.

  • John 14:6a “Jesus said to him, ‘I AM the way, the truth, and the LIFE‘.”
  • John 1:3 “All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”
  • Colossians 1:16 “For BY Him (Jesus) all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”

An Uncertain Creation

Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle tells us that we can’t know everything about “a particle” at once—specifically, we can’t know both its exact position and speed at the same time. The more precisely we know one, the less we can know about the other.

Quantum theory tells us that an unobserved small object (for instance, an electron or a photon — a particle of light) exists only in a blurry, unpredictable state, with no well-defined location or motion until the moment it is observed. This is Werner Heisenberg’s famous Uncertainty Principle.

Since, according Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, the universe “folds in on itself” – all options of location or motion are possible but not real until one option is “observed”. Once an option is “observed” then reality is confirmed.

This author calls it the “If Principal” regarding choices which applies not just to particles but to choices. “If Esau hadn’t sold his birthright”, “If the Jews had kept God’s laws”, “If the Jewish leaders had accepted Jesus as their Messiah”. Each “if” changes the course of the outcome, which God already knows.

The “If Principal” applies to men, not to God.

Choices Are Everything

Wisdom is knowing the value of one thing over another. Whatever a man values, that is what he binds up in his heart, to either advance his life or his death.

  • Joshua 24:15 “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
  • Deuteronomy 30:19 “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;”

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” I John 2:15

Entanglement

Entanglement involves linking two mass-less particles together. It has been accomplished by science when two particles were linked 750 miles apart leaving the possibility of being able to link particles across the universe. It is similar to “hyperlinking” text. When one particle (like text) changes, the other is affected similarly.

Entanglement, it seems, also occurs in scripture and across dimensions from the physical dimensions to spiritual dimensions.

  • Acts 7:44 “Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moses to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,”
  • Hebrews 8:5 “Who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, ‘See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.’”
  • Ephesians 2:6 “And (He) raised us (believers) up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
  • Job 36:7 “He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; But they are on the throne with kings, For He has seated them forever, And they are exalted.”

See: Topic: Quantum Physics and Entanglement for further details and explanations.

Sin

Sin is defined as any thought or act that falls outside the area of a prescribed boundary (missing the mark).

God insists on boundaries for separations. The Hebrew meaning of “holy” is to be separated from sin.

God separated the clean from the unclean, the common from the uncommon, the species according to their kind, the day from the night, the Jews from the Gentiles, et al.

Sin is being a transgressor to God’s boundaries: “No Trespassing”

Seeing The Spiritual Realm

Seeing The Spiritual Realm (Unseen Dimensions) Through the Telescope of the Physical Realm (Man’s Four Visible Dimensions)

The “Shape” of Christ’s love is demonstrated in the spiritual AND physical dimensions: by His crucifixion and resurrection at the appointed time (the day of His visitation).

  • John 4:9 “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.”

“That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:1719

Truth

“Lies must be invented, but Truth just is.” ~unknown

  • John 14:6a “Jesus said to him, ‘I AM the way, the TRUTH, and the life’.”

TRUTH has never been created; it has always been, it is, and always will be.

  • Exodus 3:14 “And God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’ And He said, ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”

Truth cannot be bent, marred, or corrupted in any way. It is compared to gold, which comes from the heavens, is eternal because it will never rust or decay, it shines, is pure, valuable, and found in the ground (even as “man” is made from the ground).

LIES

The difference between truth and lies is that one is real and the other isn’t.

Creation could not be made based on a lie, because lies are not real; therefore, Christ as Truth is the cornerstone and capstone of creation.

Anything built on lies, when colliding with “real” truth, leaves violence, destruction, and chaos in its path with its finality at Armageddon.

CONCLUSION: “WHAT IS REALITY?”

Reality is what God says it is … through scripture, through Jesus, through wisdom given by the Holy Spirit, all of which are called “THE WORD”.

I Corinthians 13:12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

Above: Quantum entanglement. Conceptual artwork of a pair of entangled quantum particles or events (left and right) interacting at a distance.

Quantum entanglement is one of the consequences of quantum theory. Two particles will appear to be linked together across space and time, since changes to one of the particles (such as an observation or measurement) will affect the other particle.

This instantaneous effect appears to be independent of both space and time, meaning that, in the quantum realm … Effect may precede cause, putting an end to the argument of “predestination” versus “free will,” since both coexist in Quantum Physics.

The best physical example of this spiritual truth is the concept of hyperlinking text in the computer. When a link is touched, both the text and its link are affected. Particles have no “mass” and hyperlinking text has no “mass”.
