Ezekiel 32:2 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt (Pharaoh Apries), and say to him:
- God is comparing Pharaoh Apries to the Antichrist at end times. Both are/will be indwelt by Satan.
‘You are like a young lion among the nations,
And you are like (Satan) a monster in the seas (of people),
Bursting forth in your rivers,
Troubling the waters with your feet,
And fouling their rivers.

- The Pharaoh is indwelt by Satan: A sea monster (Leviathan) aka Satan who is also described as a serpent, dragon, and beast. Satan is always a reptile in scripture and the reptiles are all Satan. The serpent, dragon, crocodile, sea monster, leviathan, and beast that comes out of the water are all the same. The waters are a sea of people.
- As a serpent Satan deceived Adam and Eve. As a sea monster he swallowed Jonah for three days and three nights before regurgitating him onto the shores of the gentiles. He is the dragon waiting to devour the male child in the book of Revelation. He is the fourth beast in Daniel, and the beast out of the sea of people in Revelation. His end is prophesied in Isaiah and his character described in Job 41, and when he indwells a man, he is synonymous with that man’s kingdom and power.
- He, Satan, causes the sea of people to boil, stew, curse, and be troubled. He causes the waters to be unclean. He exceeds his boundaries, bursting forth as an army invading other lands.
- Much of what is prophesied has the echo of the latter days (end times) with notations and references after these verses.
Ezekiel 32:3 ‘Thus says the Lord God:
“I will therefore spread My net over you with a company of many people, and they will draw you up in My net.
- Job 41:1“Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook, Or snare his tongue with a line which you lower? 2 Can you put a reed through his nose, Or pierce his jaw with a hook (thorn)? … 24 His heart is as hard as stone, even as hard as the lower millstone. … 31 He makes the deep boil like a pot; He makes the sea like a pot of ointment. …34 He beholds every high thing; He is king over all the children of pride.”
- Isaiah 27:1 Israel Will Be Restored – In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea (of people).
- Psalm 77:16 The waters saw You, O God; The waters saw You, they were afraid; The depths also trembled. 17 The clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound (thunder); your arrows also flashed about. 18 The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lit up the world; The earth trembled and shook. 19 Your way was in the sea, Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps were not known.
Ezekiel 32:4 Then I will leave you on the land; I will cast you out on the open fields, and cause to settle (Lit. sit or dwell) on you all the birds of the heavens. And with you I will fill the beasts of the whole earth.
- Revelation 19:21 And the rest (the armies of the Antichrist, who is indwelt by Satan) were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

- Isaiah 63:1 Who is this who comes from Edom,
With dyed garments from Bozrah, this One who is glorious in His apparel,
Traveling in the greatness of His strength?—
“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
2 Why is Your apparel red, and Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with Me.
For I have trodden them in My anger, and trampled them in My fury;
Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My robes.
4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart, (Isaiah 63 alludes to Revelation 19:15)

And all its multitude shall be destroyed.

From beside its great waters;
