Verses Pertaining to the Return of Jesus:

  • Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
  • Zechariah 14:3 Then the Lord will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle.
  • Zechariah 14:4 And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.
  • Zechariah 14:5 “Then you (the people) shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the LORD my God will come, And all the saints with You (Lord).”
  • Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
  • Hosea 5:15 I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”
  • Zechariah 10:3 “My anger is kindled against the shepherds, And I will punish the goatherds. For the Lord of hosts will visit His flock, The house of Judah, And will make them as His royal horse in the battle.

  • Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.
  • Daniel 7:14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, Which shall not pass away, And His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.
  • Ezekiel 39:21 “I will set My glory among the nations; all the nations shall see My judgment which I have executed, and My hand which I have laid on them.

  • Ezekiel 38:18 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. 19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, 20 so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence (The return of Christ). The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ 21 I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”’
  • Song of Solomon 5:2 I slept but my heart was awake. Listen! My beloved is knocking: ‘Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my flawless one. My head is drenched with dew, my hair with the dampness of the night.’
  • Psalm 110:5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.
  • Isaiah 29: 6 NIV “the LORD Almighty will come with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with windstorm and tempest and flames of a devouring fire.”
  • Mark 14: 61-62 NIV Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds (of the angels and saints) of heaven.”

  • Isaiah 34:2
    • For the indignation of the Lord is against all nations,
      And His fury against all their armies;
      He has utterly destroyed them,
      He has given them over to the slaughter.
  • Job 20:28
    • The increase of his house will depart,
      And his goods will flow away in the day of His wrath.
  • Job 21:30
    • For the wicked are reserved for the day of doom;
      They shall be brought out on the day of wrath.

    • The Lord is at Your right hand;
      He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.

  • Daniel 2:34
    • You watched while a Stone (Jesus) was cut out (separated) without hands (supernaturally), which (came down from heaven and) struck the image (the list of gentile kingdoms) on its feet (which was the last kingdom to reign before Jesus) of iron (the Club of Rome) and clay (the Ten Arabic Kings), and (then the Stone, Jesus) broke (smashed) them in pieces.
