THE FIRSTBORN CONSECRATED:
- Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Consecrate to Me all the firstborn, whatever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and beast; it is Mine.”
- There is something special about a first born child who is also a male. He belong’s to God.
- The firstborn male which opens the womb is holy to the Lord and must be redeemed with a sacrifice of turtle doves or pigeons.
- Exodus 13:12 that you shall set apart to the Lord all that open the womb, that is, every firstborn that comes from an animal which you have; the males shall be the Lord’s.
Exodus 13:13 But every firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break its neck. And all the firstborn of man among your sons you shall redeem.
A PROPOSAL FOR THE BIRTH MONTH OF JOHN THE BAPTIST AND JESUS:
- Jesus was a male who opened Mary’s womb. Jesus belonged to the Father. Exodus 12:29 The Tenth Plague: Death of the Firstborn – And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of livestock.
- There was nothing “holy” left in Egypt.
Exodus 13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go, that the Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man and the firstborn of beast. Therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all males that open the womb, but all the firstborn of my sons I redeem.’

Numbers 3:40 – Levites Dedicated Instead of the Firstborn. Then the Lord said to Moses: “Number all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and above, and take the number of their names.
Numbers 3:41 And you shall take the Levites for Me—I am the Lord—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”
Numbers 3:42 So Moses numbered all the firstborn among the children of Israel, as the Lord commanded him.
Numbers 3:43 And all the firstborn males, according to the number of names from a month old and above, of those who were numbered of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.

Deuteronomy 21:17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the unloved wife as the firstborn by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his.
