Romans 1

Greeting

Romans 1:¹ Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God

• Bondservant: A person bound in service without wages. A slave.

Serve God for eternal life, or serve Satan for temporary immoral freedoms and eternal death

Romans 1:² which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures,

Romans 1:³ concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born (came) of the seed of David according to the flesh,

Romans 1:⁴ and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

Romans 1:⁵ Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations (Gentiles) for His name,

Romans 1:⁶ among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;

Romans 1:⁷ To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints:

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Desire to Visit Rome

Romans 1:⁸ First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

• While Paul is held prisoner in Rome, he overhears what is said about these “Christians”.

Romans 1:⁹ For God is my witness, whom I serve with (or in) my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers,

Romans 1:¹⁰ making request if, by some means, now at last I may find a way in the will of God to come to you.

Romans 1:¹¹ For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established—

Romans 1:¹² that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

Romans 1:¹³ Now I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that I often planned to come to you (but was hindered until now), that I might have some fruit among you also, just as among the other Gentiles.

Romans 1:¹⁴ I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise.

• A “one-up” position speaks “down”. A “one-down” position speaks “up”. When Paul speaks of himself as a debtor, he speaks from a “one-down” position of humility.
• The two positions are like a seesaw in a children’s playground. Sometimes Paul speaks with God-endowed authority in a “one-up” position.

Romans 1:¹⁵ So, as much as is in me, I am ready to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also.

The Just Live by Faith

Romans 1:¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

Romans 1:¹⁷ For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

• The Just are those who have life imputed to them for all eternity.

God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness

Romans 1:¹⁸ For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress (hold down) the truth in unrighteousness,

Having the Truth suppressed is like holding a pillow over its mouth and smothering it.

Romans 1:¹⁹ because what may be known of God is manifest (evident) in (among) them, for God has shown it to them.

Romans 1:²⁰ For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead (divine nature, deity-Trinity), so that they are without excuse,

Could entanglement be the definition for being “sealed” by the Holy Spirit?

As men, we tend to accept that which we can see and that which we understand, but God is neither seen nor understood.

Likewise, quantum physics is invisible and leaves scientists befuddled, but regardless, scientists recognize its value. If one follows its equations or laws, the outcomes are predictable, even though science does not understand why.

Scripture, at times, leaves us baffled, yet technology and science overtake us daily, explaining more about the universe we live in. Therefore, nothing is excluded that may shed light on scripture: history, science, arts, music, technology, or physics.

This website is “entangled” or “hyperlinked” to study scripture from a multiplicity of directions.

Quantum Entanglement: If you measure a photon’s location, you may find it in one place – and you might find it somewhere else. You can never know for certain where it is. Likewise, information appears on this website in one place, but it may show up somewhere else.

Note: A photon is a particle that has no mass. Likewise, this website has no mass.

“Superposition” is the ability of some minute subatomic-scale particles to be in more than one place at the same time. It has to do with particles in the quantum world having the weird capacity to exist in all possible states (or positions) at once, similar to data being “hyperlinked”.

Thanks to quantum theory, scientists have shown how pairs of particles can be linked – even if they’re on different sides of the room or opposite sides of the universe. Particles connected in this way are said to be entangled.

Romans 1:20 God is known by the worlds which He made. “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that ARE made (seen), even His eternal power and Godhead.“

So far, scientists have been able to entangle (link) photons that were 750 miles (1,300 km) apart.

Theoretically, how does God use “entanglement” to link heaven and earth? Quantum entanglement is one of the consequences of quantum theory. Two particles are linked across space and time, such that when changes to one of the particles occurs, the other one is affected. This instantaneous effect appears to be independent of both space and time, meaning that, in the quantum realm, effect may precede cause (the end precedes the beginning) … The Great Physicist created entanglement when He created the universe. This sets aside the question of predestination vs free choice.

Theoretically, does quantum physics in scripture link heaven and earth?

Similarly, Believers would be alive on earth and alive in heaven at the same time, being “entangled“.

Hebrews 8:5 “Who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, ‘See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.’”

Ephesians 2:6 And (He) raised us (believers) up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

Why would the temple on earth need to be identical to the temple in heaven? One answer is, if the temples are “entangled”, then when God’s presence is in the heavenly temple, He wouldl also be in the earthly temple.

Hebrews 9:22-23 And according to the law, almost all things are purified (cleansed) with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission (forgiveness).

Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified (cleansed) with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies (representations) of the True, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; 25 not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another— 26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

God instructed Moses to follow the instructions for the earthly temple precisely, as such, according to the temple in heaven so that the temple in heaven could be “entangled” with the Jewish temple on earth.

Man is associated with EITHER the God of heaven (777) OR with the Antichrist (666), indwelt (entangle/linked?) by Satan.

Entanglement means that when one is affected, the other reacts. In computer-speak it is called “hyperlinked”

The Jewish temple and the body of believers are both temples of God; in which scripture describes as being entangled with heaven. Neither death nor destruction can destroy the temple(s) that are located in the spiritual realm. Hebrews 8:5 and Ephesians 2:6

If the spiritual can be entangled with a human, then demon possession would seem to be an option as part of this process.

Affected means to be acted upon; influenced. Influenced in a harmful way; impaired, harmed, or attacked, as by climate or disease (or Satan).

Or, of the mind or feelings, impressed; moved; touched (by God).

Can one human be linked to another? Scripture mentions marriage when two become “one”.

Romans 1:²¹ because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile (worthless, empty, meaningless) in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened (unable to see the Light).

Men tend to accept science fiction where someone is beamed up from one spaceship to another. But they cannot accept a rapture.

Romans 1:²² Professing to be wise, they became fools,

The Greeks worshipped man’s “wisdom”, which is “anti-wisdom“.

Romans 1:²³ and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible (perishable) man — and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Romans 1:²⁴ Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

Romans 1:²⁵ who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Romans 1:²⁶ For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women (females) exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

Romans 1:²⁷ Likewise also the men (males), leaving the natural use of the woman (female), burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

Romans 1:²⁸ And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

Romans 1:²⁹ being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness (greed), maliciousness (malice); full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,

Romans 1:³⁰ backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Romans 1:³¹ undiscerning, (without understanding) untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;

Romans 1:³² who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
