Genesis 2

  • Prior to the Great World Wide Flood rain did not exist. We know this because Noah had never seen a rainbow. Everything was watered by a mist that come up from the chambers of water below the surface of the earth. There were no stars, no clouds; rather, a canopy like an orb caught the mist to recycle it into rivers. The earth was like a terrarium. Men lived to many hundreds of years old because the ice orb surrounding the earth protected men from the sun’s rays.
  • Science will tell you it takes more than 40 days and 40 nights to flood the entire earth. It doesn’t unless a plummeting meteor hit and broke apart the orb, melting the ice and causing torrents of water to fall to the earth.
  • There is scientific evidence of meteors and their effect on the earth.
  • Furthermore; when the meteor crashed into the surface of the earth the caverns were broken apart causing water to spew to the surface.
  • It was 1,654 years for man to multiply and cover the earth prior to the flood.
  • For 1,656 years. These people built ships; ruled cities; farmed the land; tended herds; and created music. They had fire; ate; walked; talked; married; danced and sang. They created extravagant gold, silver and lapis lazuli jewelry; bowls of alabaster, objects of art; and weapons. They had language and writing. From Adam to Noah each person had many children, who in turn had many children. There was violence which could have destroyed the earth with radiation. If this is the case, then God prolonged the existence of men because of the flood.
  • Since there were no oceans, men builds everywhere, civilization after civilization, many of which ended up on the bottom of the ocean’s floors as ancient oceanic ruins of the ancient days.
  • King Ashurbanipal loved to read the writings (on clay tablets) from before the flood.

What should I learn from this chapter?

  • The Archeology of the ocean.

The History of Creation (Continued from Chapter 1)

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
Genesis 2:And on the seventh day God (Elohiym) ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
Genesis 2:Then God (Elohiym) blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God (Elohiym) had created and made.
Genesis 2:This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym) made the earth and the heavens,
Genesis 2:before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym) had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground;
Genesis 2:but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.
  • Notice there is no mention of rain. An orb of ice encapsulated the earth, creating an environment like a terrarium. With the Great World Wide Flood, the ice broke apart and rained down on the earth as well as water spewing up from the caverns in the ground (which had created the mist.)
  • Not until Noah landed the ark on dry land did man experience rain or a rainbow.
Genesis 2:And the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah)  God (Elohiym) formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (The Holy Spirit); and man became a living being.

Life in God’s Garden

  • A rewind and retelling of creation from Gen 1:1 thru Gen 2:7
Genesis 2:The Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym) planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
  • To be grammarily correct, it is the Garden “IN” Eden (not the Garden OF Eden).
  • “Eastward in Eden”
    Nod was east of Eden but Nod was not in Eden.
  • Whatever God creates, He also fills. God created man and filled him with His own breath. God created the garden, and filled it with man.
Genesis 2:And out of the ground the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym) made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
  • The tree of life is the cross and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil is the tree of justice demanding a law.
  • The pictures below are to give the reader a sense of living in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:10 Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads.
Genesis 2:11 The name of the first is Pishon; it is the one which skirts the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.
Genesis 2:12 And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which goes around the whole land of Cush. 14 The name of the third river is Hiddekel (Tigris); it is the one which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates.
  • The Tigris and Euphrates are recognized today. The other two, Pishon and Gihon are speculative.
Genesis 2:15 Then the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah)  God (Elohiym) took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
  • Adam wasn’t made in the Garden in Eden.
Genesis 2:16 And the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym)  commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

  • Above: An amazing tree of dates.
Genesis 2:17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die (be extinquished).”
Genesis 2:18 And the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah)  God (Elohiym) said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable (a help meet) to him.
Genesis 2:19 Out of the ground the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym)  formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
Genesis 2:20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.
Genesis 2:21 And the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God (Elohiym) caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
Genesis 2:22 Then the rib which the Lord (יְהֹוָה  Yĕhovah) God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.
Genesis 2:23 And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Genesis 2:25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
  • NOTES:
    From Adam and Eve until the Great World Wide Flood the face of the earth was covered with civilizations thus leaving masses of underwater ruins at the bottom of the oceans: Below are supposed underwater ruins inserted here for the flavor of the possibilities (whether the pictures are real or fake, new or old). I would love to have a clay tablet written in a mysterious language from before the flood, although I believe it would be Hebrew. The tower of Babel was soon after the flood and they all spoke one language. I believe Hebrew is the original language. Aside from scholarly commentaries, Hebrew is a prophetic multidimensional language wherein one sentence can explode into many stories. For example: rain is more than rain, it means teacher and specifically the Messiah. Then it proceeds to become prophetic:
    • Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first. Joel 2:23
      • Two visitations of the Messiah Jesus: one in our past and one yet to be in our future.

Disclaimer concerning the photos: They are posted to give that eerie feeling of a strange watery grave of entire civilizations. There is no proof of their authenticity.
